Letter to

Ms Spider
Dear Ms Spider,

How are you? I heard from Earthworm that you have just set-up
a silk cloth factory together with silkworm! Congratulations! I hope
your silk cloth weaving business is a great success. I realised that I
have not written to you for quite a while. I just wanted to write to
you to update you on what has been happening to me lately as what
I have promised. I have faced quite a few challenges since I moved
to New York City.

First of all, I was living in the stone of the peach. Every day, hundreds
of children would come to play with me, and they would beg me to
tell them about the adventures we had. So, I decided to write a book.
Selling my books helped me resolve my financial needs of having to

Everyday, I had to survive by eating packet food, I got quite tired of P4 Creator
having to eat the same food most of the time. Since I did not know
how to cook, I decided to use some of the recipes I found on the
internet. The next day, I went to the supermarket across the street
to get some ingredients. I saw the traffic light turn green, and I
decided to cross the road. But as soon as I step foot onto the road,
the drivers immediately horned as they shouted at me angrily. I was
scolded for crossing the road when it did not show a green man.
But I did not let that dampen my spirits as I continued heading to the
supermarket to buy the ingredients I needed. It took me quite a few
tries in cooking before I managed to cook up a scrumptious meal.

The next day was my first day of school. I was expecting my school
building to be a small single storey building. But when I arrived, I was
so surprised that it was much bigger than I have expected. I was
even lost while trying to find my way around the school. I went to
the General office to obtain some directions to get to my class on
time. Finally, when I reached my classroom. I walked in and was
stunned to see so many pairs of curious eyes looking at me. I did
not expect my classroom to be so huge with such a large number of
classmates. It took me some time to get use to it. While I was there,
my teacher introduced me to the class and asked me to share about
myself. Fortunately, I have some experience in speaking in public to
children staying near me, as shared earlier, so I shared about my
adventures in the giant peach. It helped me to make friends easily
as they came to me to keep asking to share more about my
adventures in the giant peach.

It has been three weeks since I moved to New York City, and I have
grown accustomed to my new lifestyle. I hope to hear from you soon.
